Eric Yevak is a multi-media artist residing and working in Brooklyn, New York. Much of Yevak's work revolves around conflict. The atmospheric pieces embody the purest form of conflict and struggle; a mess of feelings and color, delivered with a deeply personal need. As with conflict and struggle, one can almost make sense of what is going on in his pieces, but once lost in the order of control, a new layer of struggle appears. I met Eric years ago. He was like the insider that didn’t quite fit in. Sort of like an alien that had a guest pass to hang with the humans. I immediately loved him for that. Watch as Eric gives us a glimpse into what makes him create and what time he gets out of bed in the morning.

Action Patrol is a band from Richmond, Virginia. They formed and began playing shows in the early 90s. They quickly captured the hearts and ears of the Richmond punk scene. Their upbeat, spazztic, and catchy tunes have inspired the raddest of stage dives and the most crucial mosh sessions. We had a chance to spend some time with the band and document their time leading up to the reunion shows. The full documentary will be posted soon. In the meantime, enjoy the video from the April 13th, 2018 show posted above. The show was shot at The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia.
Here are some older pics of Action Patrol taken by the our friend, Chris Lacroix. You can see more of his photos here.
